Also, the two duels that go the worst for Harry (nearly killing Draco in the bathroom, and going after Severus after he killed Dumbledore), are the only duels during which he never once tries to use Expelliarmus. 

Snape really was protecting Harry by teaching him the spell that he would always use in duels. Snape is the reason Harry didn’t die in the graveyard, and from then on it was all that Harry used.
